Messages to you from swim school team members...
Hello Swimmers! I've been staying at home with my family in Chester. Jessica, my eldest daughter is back from Uni and has been baking lots of cakes! I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Take care and stay safe, Captain Lee
Hi Swimmers, my wife and I have been training and exercising our puppy and also been watching Disney+. We’re completing a 1000 piece jigsaw to frame and have also ordered a candle making set. We’ve been staying in touch with friends and family over the internet. We hope you are all equally safe and happy and I am personally extremely excited to get back to work and see all of my friends and co-workers and, most of all, the children. Elliott
Hello Swimmers! I’ve been keeping as busy as possible. Trying to keep my mind off how much I’m missing teaching my swimmers. I’ve been on bike rides, reading in the garden, binge watching every series possible on Netflix. I’ve been exercising with my mum, brother and two friends on Zoom. I started a 1000 piece Beauty and the Beast puzzle (I haven’t completed it yet!) and baking chocolate brownies. I've also started painting again which is really lovely as it makes the time go quickly. I hope everyone is safe and well. Take care, Jamie
Hey Swimmers! Really missing you all. I've been doing lots of exercise and also creating videos with my brother for his YouTube channel. Hope to see you all real soon. Keep safe. Adam
Hi Swimmers! I'm in the Lake District with my family. Each day I'm exercising, helping to home school my 11 year old brother, cooking and watching movies. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work and seeing all you again! Dan
Hello Swimmers! I'm with my family and we've been spending a lot of time in the garden. I’ve been building my own shed and decking with help from my two young sons! Really looking forward to seeing you again very soon! Abe
Hi Swim School! I'm really missing everyone! We've been spending our time clearing our garden and have now started to re-do our bathroom. I also have a new bike and so we’ve been going on bike rides. We have a gorgeous little puppy, her name is Poppy and she is a Labernese (Labrador crossed with a Bernese Mountain dog) - so she won’t be little for long! Take care and stay safe. Hayley
Hello Swimmers! Hope you are all well. During this time that we've all been staying at home I've learnt to ride a unicycle and am currently restoring one too! Look forward to seeing you all soon. Take care, Adrian
Hi Swimmers! My family and I have been doing a lot of running, cycling and evening walks. We have been walking in the woods and are watching the tadpoles in the ponds develop into great little swimmers! Looking forward to seeing you soon, Greta
Hi Swimmers! Hope you are all well. During this time, I've been cleaning the house and working in the garden. During my daily exercise I've been making friends with the local wildlife! I've also been shopping for family members and taking my youngest sister out for walks. We also have a new addition to the family, Zackery my nephew. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Stay safe everyone, Dylan
Hello Swimmers! I've been sticking to my routine of keep fit (with the help of my cat Honey) and going for a walk and delivering care packages to people. I've also been sorting out my house and now have many bags to take to charity shops when it's safe to do so! Finally in the evening I have been part of many a zoom quiz (feel like I've learnt a lot during this quarantine!) with friends and family. I've also been watching old sitcom reruns like Blackadder & Only Fools and Horses. Missing all my swimmers very much. Gemma
Hi Swimmers! I have been taking walks in Swinley Forest, and have been doing my best to keep fit with some weights and going for runs 3 or 4 times a week. In the evenings I've been spending time in the garden, cooking on the BBQ and listening to music. Other than that I've done a fair bit of reading, watched some of my favourite films and spent some time playing xbox. I'm really missing all the swimmers and look forward to seeing you all again soon. Lee
Hello Balsall Swimmers! The main thing I've been doing is exercise - I love to exercise so I've got back into running and was proud to run 5 miles without stopping. I’ve also been enjoying live online yoga classes most days and also live online workouts. I’ve been able to get back into reading every day which I haven’t done since I left school! Additionally, I’ve been keeping up my swimming knowledge and learning new skills with the STA’s (Swimming Teachers Association) webinars. Lastly, I have really appreciated having the time to spend with my loved ones; particularly the quality time with my partner and step children. I'm really missing my swimmers and am looking forward to seeing them soon. Cathy
Please note that the swim school office is closed until the Covid-19 situation has been resolved.
Stay safe and the swim school team look forward to seeing you again soon.
