Sponsored Swim in aid of Linden Lodge School

The Swim School / The Sarah Harris School of Swimming has been working in partnership with Linden Lodge School since 1993.

The Swim School's on-going support for Linden Lodge (a specialist School for a diverse range of visually impaired and sensory impaired children and young people) includes;

In 2005, the swim school made a £20,000 donation towards the then-new Linden Lodge hydrotherapy pool.

Since 2014, the swim school has as a courtesy, been providing pool cleaning and pool plant maintenance services to Linden Lodge and also periodically provide/replace small pieces of pool plant equipment.

Since 2016, the swim school has been involved with the delivery of swimming services to the daytime swimming sessions at Linden Lodge for their pupils.

In 2018, the swim school organised a sponsored swim and raised £15,000 towards the new Family Centre at Linden Lodge School.

In 2019, the swim school provided a £20,000 voluntary contribution towards the supply and fitting of a new chemical dosing unit for the pool.

For 6 years, the swim school has provided a free term of swim lessons for 15 children from Wandsworth Sensory Services.
